Quality assurance is an objective evaluation through which the educational institution aims to evaluate the educational process in order to identify the strengths to highlight and develop them, in addition to identifying and refining the weaknesses through the regular process of self-evaluation by the quality department.
The key role of the quality assurance and performance evaluation department of the faculty of arts is centered on the constant work on improving and developing the quality of the educational process outputs through employing mechanisms that evaluate its performance and make recommendations for refining it with what serves its affiliates and community, in addition to reaching the highest level of quality.
We seek to adhere to quality standards and foundations and enhance the faculty capacities in various fields. Furthermore, we aspire to focus on quality education, establish principles and foundations of scientific research, focus on practical aspects, and serve the community.

Quality Assurance and Performance Evaluation Department aims to achieve the following goals:
1. Promoting the culture of quality.
2. Raising awareness of the importance of quality among teaching staff members and all the members of the educational, organizational, and administrative process of the faculty.
3. Comprehensive and constant improvement of the performance and quality assurance in all the faculty departments and programs.
4. Ensuring understanding, accepting, and adhering to the essence and goals of quality.
5. Self-evaluation studies and the preparation required for progress and accreditation.
6. Establishing information frameworks connected with processes of quality assurance and accreditation.
7. Providing assistance to departments in establishing performance evaluation and quality assurance units.
